Your Land Trust needs you!
Volunteers are the backbone of the Land Trust. For the our nearly 50 year history, we have been extremely fortunate to have hundreds of dedicated volunteers who bring their energy and talents to ensure the protection and appreciation of Branford’s natural resources.
Our Land Trust is all-volunteer — if there is not a volunteer to do a task, the task does not get done.
The Board of Directors (all volunteer) oversees the committees where the work of the land trust is done. From land acquisition and membership to property management and stewardship, volunteers handle every aspect of land trust operation.
There is much to do and we need your help. It’s easy to get started. Volunteers may email Volunteer Coordinator, or check off the Volunteer box on your membership renewal, respond to a “Volunteer needed” plea in the Newsletter or fill in a Volunteer Form and mail it in. It is very rewarding to look at our current and new Board of Directors who, in the beginning, have done just that.
