Recently, to celebrate the holidays and the building’s historic renovation, a cheerful crowd gathered at the Land Trust House to enjoy the stunning artwork of Stony Creek artist Bill McDonald, along with wine and champagne, hors d’oeuvres, and a warm fire.
During the reception—and continuing now through Christmas—those who donate at least $500 toward the preservation of Branford Land Trust headquarters have the opportunity to choose a fine art glicée print of Bill’s work for their very own. (click here for an index of available prints)
Bill, whose family has lived in Stony Creek for four generations, says “The goal of my art is to paint… serenity and beauty in the places that are important to me.”
What could be a better gift to or from a Branford Land Trust supporter? Don’t miss this great opportunity! And if you are looking for a more modest Christmas gift for someone who enjoys the beauty and serenity of Branford’s natural spaces consider a donation to the Branford Land Trust in the name of your loved one.
