Your Land Trust Needs You!
As an all-volunteer organization, people like you are the backbone of the Branford Land Trust depends on. For our 55+ year history, we have been extremely fortunate to have hundreds of dedicated volunteers who bring their energy and talents to ensure the protection and appreciation of Branford’s natural resources.
If there is not a volunteer to do a task — and there are many — that task does not get done. Land acquisition, property management and stewardship; membership, communications, and fundraising; technical and administrative support are all performed by volunteers who want to make a positive impact on our local environment.
There is much to be done and we need your help. It’s easy to get started. Join others like you by clicking here to learn more and to volunteer. Our Volunteer Coordinator will get back to you quickly.
While volunteering online saves time, you may also check the volunteer box on your membership renewal, respond to an email “Volunteer needed” plea or through the volunteer form in the Newsletter.
You don’t have to be a biologist or naturalist, or have experience in any of the activities of BLT, be it lectures, work parties or administrative. Just a love of nature and a desire to preserve our natural resources for the future of our children.
