Call to Artists: BLT Winter Art Show

The Branford Land Trust is hosting a WINTER ART SHOW on Friday, December 8 from 5-8 pm at the Land Trust House on School Street in Stony Creek. The theme of the show is open spaces, and works should reflect the basic fundamental mission of the BLT: to preserve open space in Branford, and to promote our community’s appreciation of Branford’s diverse natural features. Artwork could be realistic, abstract or anything that typifies the resources that the organization is passionate about preserving.

Artists who would like to submit a piece of work should contact Jay Babina at jbabina @ The deadline is November 21.

We only have so much room at the Land Trust House, so please contact Jay if you are interested in being in the show. The space only allows one piece per artist. (If artists have a stand-up easel for their piece, it would be an enormous help.) Once we have enough participants, no more will be accepted. The drop off date is being arranged. As the show is finalized, further information will be presented to the public and specific details to the artists.
